Teams of doctors, who partner with Haitian Support Ministries, provide health care and screening for the children of New Life Homes and the schools under the umbrella of Calvary Christian Church in Jacmel, Haiti. These doctors also support a full-time Haitian nurse who oversees the day-to-day medical care of the children.

Haitian Support Ministries, in partnership with Calvary Christin Church, supports the education of our children through grade 8. We are beginning to include high school, but currently these higher level students attend supporter funded private institutions.

Generous partners of Haitian Support Ministries supply for the needs of housing, feeding, educating and providing medical care for the children of New Life Children's Home. The children's home is a ministry of Calvary Christian Church and houses about 60 children.

Calvary Christian Church is the backbone of the various ministries supported by Haitian Support Ministries, but all of these ministries are birthed out of the same commission: to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. From a single church, Calvary has now multiplied to five in and around the Jacmel area and is still continuing to seek and save the lost.

Through partnerships with various Christian organizations, Haitian Support Ministries strives to provide regular and well balanced meals to New Life Children's Home and all the children enrolled in our schools (approx 500) plus an additional 75 meals per day that feed the street children of Jacmel.

Development
Calvary Christian Church was damaged in the 2010 earthquake. We are now beginning the process of rebuilding. And we are looking ahead as we explore some new concepts of how to best provide for the children God has placed in our care.
